Wilson Net was a web browser prototyped by Piga Software for Microsoft Windows and GNU/Linux. The GNU/Linux version was being developed in Gambas 1.x in 2007, and the Microsoft Windows version was being developed in Visual Basic 6 prior to that. The GNU/Linux version used the KHTML (now WebKit) web view component, while the Windows version used a Gecko Active X controller (previously Trident). Wilson Net had features inspired by Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera, as well as a multi-window system. It's title comes from the last name of the Piga staff, Graham and Hamish Wilson and the project was originally started and thought up by them before even founding Piga Software.
